Salesforce Consultants are skilled professionals responsible for executing different Salesforce-customer projects and providing guidance on Salesforce-solutions and benefits. They must be competent at the CRM platform and able to develop and solve complex business challenges. A Salesforce Consultant is familiar with the platform, as well as the features and latest updates offered by Salesforce, and how to use those benefits for a given client.

What career opportunities does it provide?

As a Salesforce Consultant there are a variety of career options to choose from. It varies from retraining to other roles within the ecosystem, like Administrator, Developer or Architect, to specializing on new, exciting Salesforce products.  For instance, you can become a Salesforce Industries Consultant or a Field Service Lightning Consultant.

You can fill any other roles within Salesforce based on your level of seniority, or  move up on the career ladder.  For instance, you can become a Technical Director, that is the highest leading position in this area. Moving horizontally on the career ladder is also an option, you can become a CRM Manager, Product Owner or RevOps Manager as well.
